The name Roseview says it all – roses in a multitude of shades, shapes and sizes combined with superb views across vineyards and paddocks to the distant Barossa Hills!

From the long olive tree-lined drive there are glimpses of the garden and the gorgeous show of colour provided by the hundreds of roses and their supporting act of spring flowering shrubs, pretty perennials and bulbs. Flower colours have been carefully coordinated, with harmonising shades in some areas and bright contrasting colours in others.

Complementing the flowery exuberance are several areas where the plant palette has been restricted to restful tones of green, with hedges and textures of the foliage providing interest and understated elegance.

The garden and the long length of lawn have been designed to take advantage of the views beyond but as well, there are several spots where trees and shrubs create secluded little spaces with seats well-placed to enjoy the surroundings.

There is a chic French-inspired outdoor dining area, pots and statuary have been placed to create interest and focal points, trees add height and shelter to the garden and a massive old wisteria with a huge twisted trunk covers a pergola.

A charming, stylish garden full of flowers, fragrance and far, far more!

Directions: From Adelaide, turn towards Tanunda on Gomersal Road, then turn first left after water treatment plant: Roseview is the first house on right down the hill.

The chosen charity for this garden is Lutheran Community Care
