Our two recent events were both sold out. Thirty people attended a tour of the Cedars at Hahndorf (photo above) on 5th May and the same number visited Simon's Organic Nursery at Currency Creek on April 27.

The tour of the Cedars house, studio and garden was held as part of the History Festival and was conducted by Curator Allan Campbell. Everyone enjoyed hearing the history of the Heysen Family and of famous visitors and appreciated the chance to ask questions of Allan. Discussions continued with a boxed lunch in the garden  surrounded by all the colours of Autumn.

Simon Ardill has developed an Organic Nursery nestled in a bush setting alongside Currency Creek. He demonstrated propagation and grafting techniques to the group and then took people on a walk through the nursery, vegetable garden and orchard. Many took the chance to purchase plants and then continued discussions while enjoying cakes and beverages.
